Near this time (6:40-ish) on the evening of June 18th, 2002, the path of my journey made a sharp turn that I didn’t see coming!
After “my lights had been turned-off” and my body lay in a coma, my severely damaged brain didn’t begin its slow crawl toward the long and massively labored “life-class” of learning to live again until six weeks had passed.
Please try to remember, small things do matter! People pay attention even when we don’t realize it. Write them a note. Send them an email. Pray for them. Mail them a letter..via snail mail! …take them to dinner, meet for java… Whatever, let the people in your life know you care. In fact, when you’re ready, take that next step and put into “living-color” my motto since the wreck: M.A.D. Now! (Make A Difference Now!)
We never know how many moments we have left, or what kind of time it will be so, while we have this moment, let us choose to Make A Difference Now!
