Near this time (6:40-ish) on the evening of June 18th, 2002, the path of my journey made a sharp turn that I didn’t see coming!
After “my lights had been turned-off” and my body lay in a coma, my severely damaged brain didn’t begin its slow crawl toward the long and massively labored “life-class” of learning to live again until six weeks had passed.
Please try to remember, small things do matter! People pay attention even when we don’t realize it. Write them a note. Send them an email. Pray for them. Mail them a letter..via snail mail! 🙂 …take them to dinner, meet for java… Whatever, let the people in your life know you care. In fact, when you’re ready, take that next step and put into “living-color” my motto since the wreck: M.A.D. Now! (Make A Difference Now!)
We never know how many moments we have left, or what kind of time it will be so, while we have this moment, let us choose to Make A Difference Now!
