Earlier, I was thinking of George Beverly Shea and one of the “hymns of the faith” that he and Miller penned years ago – I’d Rather Have Jesus.
The first verse says this: I’d rather have Jesus than silver or gold,
I’d rather be His than have riches untold;
I’d rather have Jesus than houses or land,
I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand…
