One never knows what my “TBI-enduring” brain is going to hold onto and ponder!
Today, as I was working on a Beth Moore Study, “A WOMAN’S HEART: God’s Dwelling Place,” a word jumped out and grabbed me. Mended. That’s it, “mended.”
So, I went to my handy-dandy Webster’s dictionary and looked it up. Mend – to repair; restore to good condition.
Hmmmm…what do I need the Lord Jesus to mend in my heart – to repair and restore to GOD-Condition? How about you; what do you need Him to mend in your heart, your life, your relationships?
He can do it, you know….that’s His Specialty!
If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there;
if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath (Ps 34:18; The Message).
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise (Ps 51:17; KJV).
