When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the enginner. ~Corrie ten Boom
Trust…Lately I’ve talked with quite a number of people who are in the midst of some dire staits, not able to see anything “around the corner” yet, all the while, having to make some incredibly serious decisions at that given moment, on the scene.
‘Reminds me of my parents and family and how they were having to make life-effecting decisions for me at the acute hospital while I was in the coma and my whole body had shut down because it couldn’t endure that kind of trauma. They were having to make decisions about TBI (something they didn’t know anything about) and all kinds of procedures they had no clue about and no experience with… Yet GOD Almighty, in His up-close and personal way, took care of them every step of the way and carried them (and me) through those minutes and months and years of learning to live again.
Whatever you’re going through, tell it to GOD; don’t hold anything back from Him. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Listen to Him; pay attention to how He leads you.
I’m reminded of Isaiah 30:20,21 (NIV) – 20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. 21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Trust Him…don’t give up!
