Ladies, are any of you familiar with Pink Impact, a special ladies’ event that Gateway Church, in Southlake hosts every year?
Last night, when I picked up my mail, there was a brochure promoting this year’s Pink Impact coming up this April. On the inside of the cover above a jogger these words get your attention:
Live outside the box,
Color outside the lines,
Follow your hearts!
When I read this, immediately these two verses in Colossians stuck out to me: Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone (Col 4:5,6; NIV).
Since the wreck, my mind thinks a lot about living life to the fullest and Making A Difference Now! It’s about laying ahold of every moment God gives us -maybe it’s a moment to give somebody a smile…somebody you don’t know, or maybe it’s a moment to listen and be present; no talking, no “well. let me tell ya…”, etc.
God crafts so many opportunities into our days. So, here’s the challenge: I urge you to have a go and “step outta the box” and make a positive difference in somebody’s life today!
