5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone (Col 4:5,6; NIV).
As we go about the business of living this thing we call “Life,” let us remember these two things:
1) People are always watching how we live.
2) People are always listening to what we say.
We might not be aware of it … and may never even know it.
So while we have this moment — maybe you’re teaching, in a business meeting, taking the kids to school, on your way to see a counselor, at a doctor’s appointment, driving somewhere — wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, I encourage you to seize the opportunity and let God make a difference in and through you for His Kingdom!
** Food For Thought — Clint, the church pastor, had no idea that on March 3rd his life would be brutally taken from him. Nor did Judy, the church secretary, ever imagine she was going to be flogged and severely beaten that day. Fix your eyes on Jesus and live this moment on-purpose! (Heb 12:2)
Blessings to each of you as you follow Our Leader!
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil (Eph 5:15,16; NIV).
