Right now, my adult daughter is going through a hard time. As parents, her dad and I are right there with her, hurting with her, praying for her, loving her as though she were still our little child. God loves us like that too. Although we have all been Christians since young ages and we know what God can do, it is not impossible for us to feel discouragement. But because we have that faith that allows us to know that we know that we know, we know God is aware of what we are dealing with, allows it for our good, stands with us, works through us in the good or bad to show others his glory and he stands in the gap for us. What does that mean? It means that Satan can’t touch us. There’s a huge gap between us and the demon, himself. God stands there protecting, fighting off the spirit of darkness and underfirds us with the spirit of light. He’s a big God and what more can you ask for in a Provider, Protector, Savior, and Lord?
